District Scout Camp

Friday 17th/18th/19th June 2005

Saltney Ferry Scouts and Explorers took part in the Flintshire District Scout Camp. During a mostly glorious, sunny, weekend in June, the CHRISTMAS CAMP was held! We had grottos, Christmas Disco, sleigh rides, and many more Christmas events. The best Christmas Dinner competition was held, and Saltney Ferry were the winners. During the camp a number of badges were earned, including Athletes, Survival, Campers, and Craft. Unfortunately the weather eventually got us, and soaked our tents just as we were packing away. However it was still a good weekend even so.
