Cub Scouts Maeshafn Climbing

Monday 16th June 2003

On Monday 16th June Saltney Ferry Cub Scouts went climbing at Maeshafn Quarry near Mold. As you can see from the photographs below it is quite a climb for Cubs, but they all at least got half way up. Although time was short at least each Cub Scout had a go. This activity will probably be tried again later in the year with two small groups.

Stopping for a break then off again! Height was sometimes an advantageSome were not so sure about the whole thing Whilst others just looked in disbelief Thumbs up Great concentration from a little feller Descending the climbEven the bigger Cubs did well One small Cub Scout climbing well Some decided they were high enough
