Challenge Hike

On Saturday 22nd March Saltney Ferry Scouts and Explorers took part in the Flintshire Challenge Hike Weekend. A total of 9 Scouts and 4 Explorers from our Group took part. The weekend included two hikes, 8 and 5 miles for Scouts and 14 and 8 miles for Explorers. Explorers carried all there own kit, whilst Scouts carried only essential equipment. All the groups prepared Route Plans, and took turns in navigating during the weekend. The weather was brilliant, and the weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all the Scouts and Explorers.
