Flintshire Scout Hike Training Weekend

Saturday 4th/5th February 2006

Saltney Ferry Scouts attended the District hike training weekend at Gladstone Centre. The weekend allowed our Scouts to learn hiking skills which will be used on the forth coming Challenge Hike. Nine Scouts attended, along with three Explorers and two leaders. Everyone seamed to enjoy the weekend, just a pity no other groups turned up! Being a very young section at the moment, it was important to pass on some knowledge. The younger ones are now teaching their school!
