North Wales Water Weekend - Llyn Gwynant

Friday 11th - 13th September 2009

On the weekend of September 11th to 13th September, we once again attended the North Wales Water Weekend. Although officially I only had ten Scouts with me, we also had quite a collection of people from our group with the canoe club. The weekend allows Scouts and Explorers to gain awards, and provide them with the skills to take away and use on the river. We even had one of our Cubs there, but he was probably better than a lot of older ones! It was a glorious, sunny weekend. We had people doing one star, two star, safety test, and teaching. Well done to all those who worked so hard during the weekend!
