Scout 7 a side Football Tournament

On Friday 28th March Saltney Ferry Scouts entered the Flintshire District Scout 7-a-side tournament. We entered two teams in the tournament, of which one of the teams won the tournament. The tournament brought along its usual terrible weather, but our Scouts were just brilliant. Our winning team actually included two Cub Scouts, but I asked them to be 'big Scouts' for the night.

The little guys were fearless, and our female Scout was pretty fearless too. Well done to both teams for giving it a go, and all of them for being excellent throughout. Our winning team drew two matches throughout the tournament, and won all the other games. Performances throughout both teams were excellent, and they thoroughly deserved the shield.
