Cub, Explorer, and Scout Christmas Parties

17th/20th/21st December 2007

The group organised three Christmas Parties this year, each of them different and each of them unique.

The Cub party was attended by 26 youngsters, 2 Explorer Young Leaders, and 5 mad leaders. Well we must have been mad! The evening was spent eating food, playing games, and then turning hypo in the Disco. Overall a successful party, but 26 was crazy!

The Explorer party was a similar format, but included a few more bizarre games. Things like find marbles in a bowl full of jelly with your toes, put the beard on the Santa race, extreme ice cream feeding, and a quiz. A great laugh really, well it was for the leaders watching anyway!

The Scout party included a longer Disco, different games, and more food. Thread the ice block through the clothes was quite popular.

These parties rounded off another year at Saltney Ferry, and thank you to all the Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers for being such a brilliant lot. Special thanks to all the Leaders, and so many Young Leaders. Without these people Saltney Ferry Scouting would be so much worse off!
